Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
Great recipe! My 18 yr old daughter helped make it, she is still learning to cook and she thought it was super easy to make. We used boneless chicken breasts and Italian bread crumbs. That was the only changes we made and it was fabulous. My 15 yr old son loved it and asked me to make it the next night. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Pat's Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
So glad I found this recipe for non fluffy dumplings! I used butter instead of shortening and about 3/4 c of water. The whole family loved it! I will increase the recipe the next time because there were hardly any leftovers.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
Great easy recipe! I used a roasted chicken from the grocery store and it turned out fabulous. The whole family loved it. I also did what the others suggested and used bagged tortilla chips. I will definitely make this again. Thanks!

Awesome Chicken and Yellow Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
My family loved this! I took the advise of another reviewer and used a chicken that was already roasted to make it easy. My 16 yr old son absolutely loves this recipe. I have already made it twice and had to double the recipe to make sure there were leftovers!

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
I think it is a great easy recipe. I did not make any changes and it turned out great. I chopped the bell peppers and onions in large chunks so my son could easily pick them out. I served it over rice and it's great because there is alot of sauce. Yummy!

Banana Muffins I

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
Great tasting muffins! I followed the recipe exactly and they are yummy. The only thing I would do next time is I would not use the muffin tin liners. The muffins stuck to the paper. Thanks for the recipe.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Just made this for the first time tonight and it was fabulous! I used regular sea salt since I couldn't find the one listed, anyway it turned out great. I will look for the Hawaiian sea salt the next time so I can try it. I loved putting the roast in the crock pot before I went to bed and having it ready for dinner the next evening. The meat was so tender and delicious. Thanks for the great recipe!

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
We loved this recipe! The only changes I made were to delete the water based on other reviews. It turned out great. I served it over tortilla chips and then added grated cheese on top with a little sour cream. When you mix in the cheese and sour cream it really takes it to the next level. Thanks for the recipe!

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
Great Burgers!! Very easy recipe that produces a very tasty burger. I cut back on the salt like the others suggested, but that was the only change I made. I just made them 2 days ago and my son is already asking me to make them again!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
This recipe is a definite keeper! I cooked according to directions and it came out great. I butter the rolls, toast them, add provolone cheese then melt under the broiler. The kids love it because the rolls keep a little bit of the toasty crunch even after dipping in the sauce.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
This was a super easy recipe for great tasting chops. I used half low sodium soy sauce and half regular soy sauce. The next time I will use all low sodium, since they were still a little salty. Otherwise I would recommend this recipe and to go longer on the marinating time.

Chef John's Buttermilk Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
Great tasting fluffy biscuits. I used the rolling pin method as described in the recipe, next time I will just pat it down with my fingers. When you use the rolling pin, I feel like the don't rise as much. Also I will pat it down to about 3/4" instead of 1/2". Otherwise this is a good solid recipe and it produced tasty biscuits with a good texture.

Cabbage and Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
I made this last night and we loved it. I agree with others that you need to get rid of most of the bacon fat or else it would be too greasy. Otherwise it's yummy and I will definitely make it again.
