About this Cook
I am not much of a cook...but I love to bake, anything sweet. When I was 8 years of age, I started making cookies and selling them at my Dad's office! I love to try out new recipes!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook desserts and meals for my family and friends. I like a more Mexican style of food, like tacos and such...ummm!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year, my family and some friends get together and decorate sugar and gingerbread cookies!
My cooking triumphs
I like putting into practice 'Waste not, want not' when I cook. So one time I used leftover French Toast to make a crust for an apple pie, I don't know how it tasted but it sure looked good!
My cooking tragedies
One time I attempted to make a strawberry pie with all the strawberrys from our garden. My mistake was: instead of putting cornstarch in the jelly part, I used corn syurp! Well thankfully, Mom walked in just in time to show me that is was cornstarch and not corn syurp! So luckily the strawberry pie was saved! (just a tad sweeter)

Monster Cookies VI
I've made these twice now. The first time, I didn't have butter or white sugar. I used cream cheese instead of butter and powder sugar in place of white sugar. I was scared that they wouldn't turn out, but they actually worked better than the ones I made a few days later following the recipe to the t. The problem with the ones with the butter is that they spread out really really largely and burnt and fell apart quickly. I give this recipe 5 stars because it can be easily adjusted and still work!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken
I think it could have been better. I may have messed with the recipe too much (used crushed wheat chex mix instead of bread crumbs), but I think it has the potential to be wonderful. It smelled really great, though!
