About this Cook
I grew up cooking for my family, so I'm comfortable with classic American, Italian and New Mexican Cuisine, but I love to experiment and share my experiences while trying new recipes
My favorite things to cook
New Mexican, Italian, American styles. I love to bake, but am not so accomplished.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love making my family recipes and testing new favorites. I'm always open to new ideas. I've been lucky with the classics so far, so I don't want to jinx it by bragging too much.
My cooking triumphs
Any new recipe that turns out well.
My cooking tragedies
Any new recipe that turns out badly.

Turkey Sloppy Joes
After looking at all the Sloppy Joes recipes on this site, I selected this one. I'm really glad I did! I only omitted the vinegar but used everything else. This came out terrific and my daughter's asking me to make it again!

Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing
This is my go to recipe whenever I make wings and it never fails to impress. I change the recipe a little by using 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup sour cream, I use a full teaspoon of pepper and it gives it a little kick that puts it over the top. Thanks William!

Cream of Zucchini Soup
OMG!!! This is the best soup I've ever had, hands down! I used butter instead of margarine, used Silk brand creamer and added a good amount of pepper. I thought I'd have enough for lunch tomorrow, but my family gobbled it right up, no leftovers! Thank you Alexy!
