Rum Sauce

Why would someone want a RUM sauce recipe and not use rum? This is a very good recipe but I don't use the milk and lit the rum to burn off the alcohol...wonderful sight.

Cranberry Cake

This is quite simple and most of the items are basic. The only thing I would change is to make a light cranberry sauce rather than the sauce in this recipe.

Angie's To-Die-For Banana Bread

I have tried this but mine is much better. I add cinnamon, nutmeg and raisins soaked in rum/wine mix and spoon some of this into my cake mixture.....this gives it added depth in flavour and so I have people constantly asking me to make more. BTW...thought it is obvious that one would mix dry ingredients BEFORE adding it to the wet...and not a state secret.

Pork Dumplings

If you mix equal amount of shrimp, add finely chopped shitake mushrooms and waterchestnuts and mix with sesame oil and some oyster sauce, it boosts the flavour a whole lot.
