Shrimp Tetrazzini

This was really good, but I think next time I'd add a bit more flavor too it. It was kind of bland. Next time I'll add some garlic when cooking the onion mixture, and I'll probably stir some more Parmesan cheese right into the pasta before it cooks. I'll definitely be making it again, though. It made a very nice dinner.

Hmm maybe it's just my oven, but I think the temperature and cooking time are off on this recipe. I had my oven at 350 and after 20 minutes the bottoms of these cookies were burnt. So I lowered the temp to 300 and cooked them for 20 minutes, instead, and they turned out better.

Mini Kisses Blondies

I think they mistakenly gave the recipe for cement!!! These were completely AWFUL!! First of all...the recipe is incorrect, as there is no baking powder listed in the ingredients, but it is mentioned in the recipe instructions. That should have tipped me off that this was going to be an awful recipe, but since I already had the rest of the ingredients assembled, I added a tsp of baking soda and prayed it would turn out ok. It turned out tasting like sawdust and didn't even make enough batter to cover the bottom of the pan. I think someone really messed up on this recipe. Yuck!!

Creamy Scallop Chowder

YUM!!!!! This tastes so good! I will definitely be making this again. I did have to make one change to the recipe, though. It didn't seem to have enough liquid to go with the scallops and mushrooms, so I ended up adding about 3/4 cup half-and-half. Turned out perfect. Thanks for this recipe!

Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp

I thought this was pretty good, but I think next time I'd turn the shrimp over once while cooking. One side of the bacon didn't seem to get as cooked as the other. That's the only change I'd make, though. Otherwise the taste was really good.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

This was great!! I have never attempted to make orzo before because it looked to intimidating, but I will be making this again and again. Hubby and I both loved it and it was so easy and quick. Oh and I left out the basil because I didn't have any and it was YUMMY!

World's Greatest Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have never been able to make chocolate chip cookies stay chewy, but I followed these directions exactly and they came out exactly like they should be -- a little crispy on the edges and nice and chewy on the inside. MMMMmm! The only slight change I'll make next time is, I'll stir the chocolate chips right in with the batter, just to make it easier on myself. These are a winner!

Chicken A La Impress Me

This is a great recipe. It looks really impressive and it's quite easy to make. I think next time I might try a milder cheese -- maybe jack or swiss. At times the gruyere really over-powered the chicken and vegetables.

Ground Beef Mexican Style

I followed the suggestions of some of the other people and used beef broth instead of water and added some spices while cooking. The other thing I did was -- after the ground beef was browned I added the onions and green peppers right to the pan and wilted them before adding the salsa. I think it would take A LOT longer to cook if you don't do that. It turned out great and I'll definitely make this again. It was so quick and very delicious!

Creamy Chicken Asparagus Casserole

I did as the other person suggested and added some milk to the cream of chicken soup before pouring over the top. It turned out great. I think it would have been too thick without it. Other than that, I think the recipe is very good...especially over rice.
