This was a good recipe, but took time. The recipe prepares a LOT of batter, so I had enough to make 24 cupcakes and a thin 9x13 sheet cake I then cut into heart shapes to top half my cupcakes (12 hearts). It is pretty dense, but definitely tastes like red velvet. Also, I wasn't able to get a bright red color, and that was after 15 drops of food coloring. Deep deep red/brown. Overall, I would make it again, but only for a home gathering- not to show off at a party of something like that.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

AMAZING! I used mini chocolate chips and filled the centers with Nutella Hazelnut Spread- they were gone in 5 seconds! The cookies baked very evenly and were soft in the center and crispy on the ends. Also, they weren't too sweet, and more savory, which made them perfect for being paired with the Nutella!

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

The dough was extremely sticky; went through an extra 1/2 cup of flour just to keep it from sticking to everything! They are very easy to make and a quick recipe- and my dog loves them! Will definitely be making these again! They came out a nice light orange as well, so I used a maple "dog frosting" mix I had to frost. Perfect fall or Thanksgiving treat!

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Yellow Cake Made from Scratch

WAY to flour-y! Also, baking time for me was 35 minutes. I made 6 cupcakes and a 9x9 cake... both were a little on the dense side. The cupcakes more so, because they're smaller and less concentrated. Also, I cut the baking powder to 2 teaspoons instead of 3 1/2. That sounded a little too much! Overall, I would make again with some minor adjustments. Did make the house smell AMAZING however- always a plus!
