Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
The Best! I've tried this in 3 different manufacturers bread machines with great results everytime. (My mom and my friend both have diffrent machines than I do). I made this recipe the first time I ever used a bread machine and it will be the only recipe I use. I had to adjust my crust to a light setting as medium was too crispy for me - but that is a personal choice - other than that I use this recipe just as it is written (use bread flour and 2 1/2 tespoons yeast) no need to change anything. Turnes out excellent! It even got my boyfriend into making bread (and he won't admit to cooking..hahaha)! The lightest, highest, nicest loaf of bread I've seen come from a bread machine (tasts just like mom's). Thank-you for sharing this recipe.

Schweinebraten Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
This recipe was great as written! I used a 5-6 lb bone in pork roast, bud light beer (was all I had on hand)and threw in about a half cup of left over chicken broth as I was having a large crowd for dinner and wanted more gravy. Used the amount of spices as written rubbed over the entire roast. Covered it with aluminum foil and baked for about 3.5 hours. I removed the foil for the last half hour to brown it down a little more. Used the pan drippings plus a little extra water (about 1/2 cup) and made the best gravy. The meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork and very moist and had great flavor. My family loved it! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. :)

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
Delicious! Loved this recipe! Made it as written with the exception of throwing in a pinch of nutmeg. I used about 8 macintosh apples and a couple of five point delicious (What I had on hand) and it turned out wonderfully! Poured half the sugar mixture over the apples and gave them a stir in the pan to coat all of them then dumped the other half on top. I used a 13 X 9 pan and the single batch of topping was just right! Served hot with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream was great! I do think next time I will cut the water down to half but will definalely use it as it made a nice sauce to coat the apples. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. :)

Sea Foam Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2013
Awesome! I've made this just as written several times, no need to change anything. (Everyone is always asking for the recipe.) Light and tasty dessert or side, and so easy to make, who could ask for anything better.
