This is really good, I had no ice cubes but is was no problem because my banana was frozen to make my drink both cool and thick. Yum.

Fava Bean Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I didn't really taste eat because I made it at night but my dad seem to like it A lot! I didn't add cumin and I used 1 and 1/2 olive oil and a little bit more lemon cause I love lemon. I don't know whether (the reason for my dad liking) he was hungry or he liked it, maybe both. Whatever it was, he ate the rest of it ( which was 90 % of the salad) ; )

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
Title really speaks for itself, Very unique cake but I wish I had put in less cocoa; one, because it's a little to much for me and family of seven, and two, I wasted all my cocoa powder. I'll be looking for a new recipe one but wouldn't hurt to try this one out.

Pita Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I love Pita Bread in general, therefore, I love this Idea. My advice is to keep in mind what you like and lay it on there. I also recommend to try out a Pita Chips Recipe and if desired, find a dip to go with it, great snack.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I loved these, and thank you for the advice: "Take sandwich bag and spoon the jam into the bottom of the bag. Massage slightly to get lumps out. Make a small snip in the bottom of the bag so you can squeeze out the jam into the holes in the dough. I used seedless blackberry jam..great choice!! I topped baked cookies with a coat of sifted powdered sugar." Very Very Good : )

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
Ohhhhh I loved it. The best pie and it's texture is great, the taste feels so good in your mouth I wish I can eat it all day. I did not bake it and I read some reviews: Some really good advice: "1) use less sugar - 1/2 cup, 2) not to bake, 3) use corn starh instead of flour, and 4) CHILL extensively." ALSO: I will try to do what kate reccomended next time, "The best crust for this pie, btw, is a vanilla wafer crust. Just mix 1-1/2 c crushed vanilla wafers w/6 T melted butter and bake for 5 mins at 350. Really sets off the banana pie!" I actually used one banana that was required in the recipe and mushed-and spread it on the crust before I put the filling of pie. Can't wait to do again.

Apricot Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
These were great cookies. Mine turned out somewhat hard on the outside and kinda soft on the outside and the flavors came slowly to my mouth and it was great. My whole family loved them. I did add like 3/4 tsp of vanilla extract but it probably didn't even need it. I strongly recommend the almonds on top, lovely. Just so anyone wants to know, I had only (whipped) cream cheese so It was 6 tbs of that I put which is much the same thing. Try it.
