About this Cook
I am a college student who loves to cook. I enjoy anything elaborate or easy. I mainly make easy dishes since I am short of time. But, I do love to cook for everyone! I cook for myself, my family and my girlfriend. Cooking is very relaxing for me. I love to create my own dishes, so hopefully everyone will love my ideas! I have loved to cook since I was a little kid. My mother would always cook with me. Ever since I could come up with creative ideas on my own, I have been thinking of ways to make new dishes and to make dishes better.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything. I love meat, I love vegetables, and I love pasta. I am always up for anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite tradition is cooking for my family during my school breaks, and to cook for my girlfriend for special occasions.
My cooking triumphs
I consider anything I make a triumph. I love to cook.
My cooking tragedies
Everyone has cooking tragedies. Nothing I have is really to note. I have overcooked things, thought of bad recipes, etc. Nothing special.

My Mother-in-Law's Cheese Sauce...ssshh Don't Tell Her
Excellent cheese sauce, but I had to modify it a little bit for it to work. I cut the recipe in half, otherwise it would have been way too much for me. I had to add about 1 tbsp. more of corn starch for it to thicken, and I used a little bit more water to mix the corn starch with. It also should be put in the directions that it should be GENTLY boiled. Milk burns easily and can leave a gross looking solid floating in the liquid so make sure to constantly stir the mix.

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers
Great recipe! My friends always love it when I make these. If you have any trouble with them falling apart, try leaving out the bacon bits. They stopped falling apart for me. I think they are better without the bacon bits anyway. This gives you a chance to use real sliced bacon if you want to. Also, I left out the shredded cheese. I found that I couldn't taste it anyway. I love cheeseburgers, so I just added a slice of cheese after grilling the burgers.
