Love the "sauce"/spread, i really like the use of the garlic and dill weed in addition to the ranch dressing mix. For the toppings I use broccoli, red pepper, and carrots, then sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top. Delicious.

Stuffed Shells III

I halved this recipe since I'm usually only cooking for myself. I cooked them 4 shells at a time in my toaster oven. Even with a halved recipe it made about 25 shells. It worked perfectly. I used sauce that I made from a recipe on this site, and just put the extra mozzarella and parm. cheese on top instead of mixing it in with the sauce. I also did not use the mushrooms called for in the recipe. It's very delicious. I might make a few more changes next time... I will put more sauce on the top, probably add some kind of garlic powder to the filling mixture, and cover the shells for part of the baking. All in all this is an awesome recipe, and was very easy. edited to add: I made some for my family and they loved these. I did add some garlic powder into the cheese stuffing mixture and I cooked them covered for 40 minutes (this was in a 9x9 pan, about 13 shells) and then uncovered and cooked for 13 min longer.

Homemade Tomato Sauce II

Very delicious sauce. This was my first attempt at making homemade sauce and this was the perfect recipe. I took the advice of previous reviewers and used EVOO instead of vegetable oil, and I added probably 2Tbs of sugar to cut down on the acidity, I actually might add a bit more. It was perfection. I can't wait to make some stuffed shells to use this with.

Cream Filled Cupcakes

These cupcakes were really good, especially the filling. I liked the cake part but next time I will probably just make cupcakes from a mix. I used the Texas Chocolate frosting from this site on top. I used cake flour instead of regular in the recipe and it was fine. I also ended up cutting a cone shaped hole out of the top with a knife, putting the filling in there and then frosting over the top, to get a little more filling inside, since that's the best part. I can see why this recipe is a crowd-pleaser!

Texas Chocolate Frosting

This is a very tasty chocolate frosting recipe! I used it on cupcakes, I can see where it would be great on brownies or cookies. My mom makes some sour cream cocoa cookies at Christmas time and this would be perfect on those! I will definitely go to this recipe when I need chocolate frosting, though it does dry out and get very crumbly, so i will have to figure out how to make it a bit creamier. It is easy to make and so much better than the stuff at the supermarket!

Beer Batter Fish Fillets

This was a great beer batter. I used it for cheese curds, minus the dill but with some black pepper. It was great. Very light and crisp.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are delicious the first day but they do dry out fast even if they are covered, and get pretty crumbly the second day. They taste soooo good though. I will have to play around with it a bit to try and keep them soft a bit longer.

Sloppy Joes II

I thought these sloppy joes were excellent! I followed the advice of some other reviews and slightly cut down on the brown sugar, and added in some water when simmering. I'm hooked!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Like another reviewer, I used this to marinate whole chicken breasts. I marinated overnight. This was some of the best chicken I've ever had. I loved it, and can't wait to have it again! I highly recommend this recipe!

Cream Cheese Pickles

We call these Pickle Dogs. We use them as appetizers at every occasion! They are so good and simple to make. I also use ham and spread the cream cheese on the ham and roll the pickle up.
