About this Cook
I am a sophomore at George Mason University. I'm studying psychology with a minor in administration of justice. I love to meet people. My favorite thing to do is watch football. GO PACKERS! I wish I could be better at cooking and I hope to learn but usually I am very busy with homework. I love to eat at restaurants with my boyfriend, but he is not very open minded and usually only wants Italian food :/
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to cook is quesadillas. I love experimenting with different meats, toppings and cheeses. My favorite one I have made so far is the tuna quesadilla with american cheese, green onions and cilantro.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I would have to say my favorite cooking tradition is baking Christmas cookies with my mom. I also love cooking for my family for the super bowl. My best cooking memory is making pierogies with my grandma, she was the best.
My cooking triumphs
Making chicken wing dip for the super bowl at my boyfriends house. His family loved it, and i definitely made a good impression because of it.
My cooking tragedies
Every time I make a grilled cheese, i make somoene else flip it for me because it falls apart and makes me so mad! hahaha but seriously, i need to learn how to do that. it's so embarrassing.

Bacon Asparagus Pizza
This was the best thing i made in a long time! You wouldn't think it would really be that great but IT IS! Just make it. and DO NOT substitute anything for the goat cheese. That is what made it so great. The only thing I changed was i added a little chopped onion but it didn't really need it.

Zucchini Pie
This recipe was great! I actually used a pie crust, but I think it would be great without one. I also did not have tomatoes unfortunately, because it would be even better with them. This was so easy to make and relatively healthy so I know I'll make it again. It also makes great leftovers :) thanks!

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas
This was very flavorful and easy! I would definitely recommend it, and I know I will be making it again. The only change i made was no oil, just sprayed the pan and added garlic with the onion. Next time I make it however, I'll most likely bake it because I like my quesadillas crispy, and the mixture was so moist that it made the tortilla soggy and messy in the pan. I also will add some fresh cilantro, but that's just my taste preference. I'm obsessed with cilantro and I try to use it whenever it goes with a recipe. Thanks :)
