Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
I had a recipe for years that I loved; it had creamed corn and buttermilk, and was cooked in an iron skillet- great stuff.
One day I didn't have enough ingredients in the house to make my ole standby, so I came to allrecipes in search of a palatable substitute and found this one. OMG! This is the best cornbread I've had in years- it will replace my old recipe. I've already shared this recipe with others, and have made it several times.
