Tilapia Scampi

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2013
this was very good - I was looking for a different way to cook the tilapia and this did the trick. I melted the butter with the garlic in the pan in the oven to avoid too many dishes. I cut the butter down to 1 stick though and it was plenty. I had the prepacked frozen fillets in a 2 lb bag - they are small and not 6 oz each as this recipe calls for but I used the entire bag. This was very tasty and super easy - definitely will make again.

Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2013
this was VERY tasty - I doubled up on everything and used 1 lb of rigatoni instead. I didn't have the pimientos thought so skipped that ingredient. Next time I think I will try using cream of celery soup or cream of asparagus just to give a little more 'veggie' flavor. It was also incredibly easy - everything is cooked in one pan, then you add the cooked pasta and you are done!

Ham, Potato and Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
I was looking for another way to use leftover ham and this was perfect! so much lighter than split pea soup! next time, I will really load up the cabbage and maybe add carrots to make it heartier. I left out the caraway seed, and let the ham make its own broth in water first( in the crockpot), then added a few chicken boullion cubes, then I just threw everything in the crockpot and let it cook - definitely making again!!!

Apple Sausage Appetizers

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
I did not like this at all - tried italian sausage and kielbasa. My son liked it - must be a 'guy food'. I was hoping to use it for our 'apple fest' party, but decided against it after making a sample batch. Blah..

Marzetti® Hawaiian Slaw

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
this was a huge hit at my luau party - everyone wanted the recipe. I left out the raisins, but left everything else the same. I didn't tell anyone what was in it, because I had a few guests that always stay away from either pineapple or coconut, but when they went for an extra helping, I told them the ingredients, and they were totally shocked. It seemed like a strange mix of ingredients, so I was a little hesitant to make this, but not sorry now! It is just so tasty and if you bring it to a party, bring a few copies of the recipe because you will need them!

Ricotta Pie (Old Italian Recipe)

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
This recipe is perfect just as it is - everyone raved about it. I have had many variations of this, but by far this is the best. It does make a lot so you definitely have to use deep-dish pie pans or you will have too much. It is very filling, so next time I may cut this in half.

really, really good! and very easy to make. I only used half of the recipe though, as it was served as one of several appetizers for a party of 20.
