Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
Just okay for me; as someone that likes a lot of spice and complex flavors, this left me wanting... too bland for my tastes but probably kid friendly.

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
My new favorite beef stew recipe... I cut up a chuck roast instead of using stew beef and it was fabulous. Thanks!

Pork Chalupas

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was fantastic... made it at Christmas time when lots of family around and this really does make a LOT! We ate chalupas for days, but it was so good we did not mind! Topped with guacamole, cheese, black olives and salsa... rave reviews from everyone! Also tried freezing some, and it was still great! Thanks!

Jerre's Black Bean and Pork Tenderloin Slow Cooker Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
For me, this was only an okay recipe... I found it a little thin and bland. I think I would have liked it better with a different bean... pintos maybe? While I love the flavor of black beans, they don't work as well in a chili for me, as I like my chili thick

Porkolt (Hungarian Stew) Made With Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
we really enjoyed this recipe... it has a lot of zip without being overly hot. I used paprika paste my aunt had brought back from Hungary and it worked out great. I also used a pork loin and sliced it up instead of using chops. Great flavor and made really good leftovers too. Thanks!

Pig Pickin' Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was a favorite cake from childhood for my husband, who referred to it as "pineapple cake" and after searching for years for the recipe, I came across this one it realized it was what he was describing. This really is good and refreshing, and it only improves with age in the frig. Be sure to drain the pineapple well... i used my hand to encourage the juice to drain through the strainer and made sure the cake was well cooled before frosting... no problems with these suggested techniques. I used 9 inch cake pans without a problem, just monitored them in the oven to make sure they were not overdone. Next time I will not blend the oranges so thoroughly as I would have likes some little chunks of orange in the cake. Thanks for posting!

Slow Cooker Pinto Bean Bonanza

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
I followed the recommendations of other users and my own tastes to sub 1 cup diced onion for the dried onion and onion powder, and I used a light kielbasa...as I was short on time I cooked for 2 hours on high and finished for 5 hours on low.... topped with shredded pepper jack and scallions as noted and served over rice.... really a terrific recipe that both my husband and I just loved. Thanks so much!

Fall-Apart Pork Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This was GREAT. Even for the non-zuchinni fan in the house, we loved it. I used cannellini as this was my on hand bean...this is a keeper. Thanks!
