Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

I used 8 oz of fresh mushrooms instead of canned, added fresh garlic, and added some fresh parley at the end, but otherwise made the recipe as written. It was yummy! I served it with corn bread and green beans, but I think it would be excellent on top of some flat noodles.

Grilled Garlic Artichokes

This was a great recipe, but I wish the ratio of lemon to oil was greater than the recipe suggests. The lemon really adds great flavor to the artichoke, but can be masked by too much oil. I steamed mine for 30 minutes before grilling. Yummers!

World's Best Lasagna

My boyfriend says he dreamt about it last night. Must be good then, huh? I thought it made too much sauce. It would not all fit in the 9x13. That's ok because I ended up freezing the extra!

Granola Bars III

I pulled these out of my bag in the middle of a 40 mile mountain bike ride. They revived us and one rider even exclaimed, "These are the best granola bars I have ever eaten!" I did make a few minor changes. I added flax instead of wheat germ. I added a bunch of different types of nuts, chopped well. Instead of raisins, I added a variety of dried fruits like cranberries and mango. I also added some chocolate chips. I love how versatile this recipe is. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks!

Chex® Muddy Buddies®

Always a huge hit at parties, but...There is not enough chocolate/peanut butter mixture to cover 9 cups of cereal. Next time I will do one bag of chips and one cup of pb. I was also not thrilled with the texture of the Wheat Chex. It tasted stale. I will use another variety of Chex or Crispex next time.

Grilled Peaches and Cream

Maybe its better if you actually use the flavored cream cheese instead of making your own version like I did. It needed a little more sweetness, so I sprinkled it at the end with cinnamon sugar. Tasted fantastic with a couple scoops of vanilla bean ice cream!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

I had a party for 5 people and on the advice of previous reviewers, tripled the recipe. Woah, nelly! There were a lot of leftovers. This is a time consuming recipe due to all of the chopping that is necessary. Next time I will make it the night before as I found it was better to let the flavors combine overnight. It was a huge hit. Enjoy!

Fancy Fruit Pizza

It is no exaggeration to say that my friends beg on their hands and knees for me to make this dessert. I make a double batch each time because it disappears so quickly. It will fill a whole baking sheet nicely. Lightly tap the pan on the counter after pulling the cookie out of the oven for a flat and gorgeous result. I use as many colorful fruits as I can find. Strawberries, fresh pineapple, mandarin oranges, bananas, kiwi, and blueberries scattered throughout work well. Slice fruit THICK and place close to each other for the most flavorful bites. This recipe makes me a hero and you can be one too!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

These are moist little bundles of sweet goodness. I used two smashed bananas, brown sugar instead of white, and maybe a few extra chocolate chips. Be aware that you only get 10 muffins out of this recipe if you fill the cups to the top like I did. A good option when you only have 2 overripe bananas though!
