Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

We LOVED this recipe. Even our 17 month old ate an entire patty with mashed potatoes. It's a great twist for ground beef. It seems like all we ever use ground beef for is hamburgers or pasta dishes, so this is definitely a good change of pace. In fact, we've fixed it twice in the last 2 weeks. We didn't change a thing. It's quite easy as well. Hope you try it!

Hearty Stir-Fry Salad

Great concept! Of course, I changed several of the ingredients to fit what I had in the fridge and only used chicken (cut in strips). But, the marinade was surprisingly good even without the ginger. This is definitely a dish that I will continue to cook...a great light summer meal!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

We will definitely have these again, but I did generously season our chops with Traeger's Pork & Poultry Shake before I dipped them in the flour. I don't think I would have liked them without it...I'm not much for that distinct sour cream taste, so the seasoning is what made it for me. The meat was so tender, though. I'm very glad I came across this recipe. It's a keeper for our family!

Tangy Sirloin Strips

LOVED IT!!! We always have trouble finding good recipes for sirloin but not anymore. I skipped the lemon pepper just because I don't care for it, and I used more than one strip of bacon for each piece because we had a thick cut of meat. It was absolutely wonderful!

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

I went with some of the different reviewers suggestions and used 1 c. butter and 1 c. shortening instead of the 2 c. shortening. I also skipped the cream and used milk to reach the consistency that I wanted. Thought it was delicious!

Pizza Casserole

Great recipe! I used whole wheat pasta instead of egg noodles and marinara (spaghetti) sauce instead of pizza sauce...and didn't use milk. I also topped it off with more pepperonis on top of the cheese, and it was wonderful. I actually thought it was better re-heated, so it may end up being one of those dishes that I prepare and freeze for a quick heat-up-and-eat meal.
