Mall Pretzels
I rate this recipe 5 stars because the dough is perfect, but it still has some room for improvement in the baking process. Here's what I did: I boiled the pretzels in 4 cups of water and 4 tbsp of baking soda until they floated, one at a time, as some German recipes advise. Then I let them rise for 20 other minutes uncovered, basted them with egg and sprinkled the coarse salt afterwards. Then I baked them for 20 minutes at 225ÂșC, and they came out golden and beautiful, and tasted as real pretzels. A definite keeper. Thanks for sharing!

Lower Fat Banana Bread I
This recipe came out just perfect. It's so simple to make and the baking was absolutely trouble free. I added a teaspoon of cinnamon and I sprinkled some ginger for added flavour. I will definitely make it again.

Fig and Lemon Chicken
This chicken is just great!! I doubled the glaze mixture and came out perfect, I had to cover it with aluminium foil at the end of the cooking as it was getting too brown. I am Spanish and I cooked it for Spanish people who are quite reticent to "non-Mediterranean" food, they absolutely loved it. We served it with baked apples as a side-dish.
