Super Moist Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
I really enjoyed this recipe. Unlike many recipes with sugar in them, it comes out more like a "bread" rather than "cake." It was delicious topped with just a little powdered sugar. Like other reviewers, I only used 1 tablespoon of both cinnamon and vanilla.

A Plus Fair Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2005
This recipe is fantastic & so easy to make! The only change I made was leaving out the bacon drippings (I did not have any), and they still turned out perfectly. This is definitely a keeper.

Pork Chops with Apple Curry Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
This was delicious. I took previous reviewers' advice and cut the amount of sauce in half. Also, I didn't have any applesauce on hand, so I used peach preserves; and it still came out great.

Mongolian Beef II

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
Quick, easy & delicious... with a few changes: I use 1 bunch of green onions (chopped), 1 stalk of celery (chopped) & 1 tablespoon minced garlic. I also use less oil. I find it works great with just enough oil to coat the bottom of the wok.

The Best Thai Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
Fabulously easy recipe. I am slightly allergic to peanuts, so I used cashew butter instead & it was delicious. Made a great dipping sauce for shrimp & chicken tempura.

Shrimp Tempura

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
Great recipe. Husband loved it. Didn't have any rice wine on hand, so I used 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar & 1/4 cup sherry. Shrimp tasted just like the ones at our favorite Japanese restaurant. Excellent for chicken, too. It can be a bit messy when cooking (skimming the oil between batches helps), but I think it's worth the mess.
