Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
Just made this for my husband's birthday tonight. We have made a lot of COB soups and this by far is the best I have ever tasted. The only thing I did differently was to add about two teaspoons of salt when the broccoli and broth were simmering. You will have no problem with soup being thin if you thicken the rue correctly. Will be making this over and over again!

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

This morning is the second time I've made this recipe. It is excellent and the closest I could find to a recipe I had years ago. As always, anything that is homemade with quality ingredients is always so worth the while to make. Allow yourself plenty of time.

Quick Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Tested recipe for a bridal shower and it is a KEEPER. Instead of the 1 C of water. I used 1/2 C of Real Lemon Juice and 1/2 C of water. I added about 1 teaspoon of pure lemon extract to the water and lemon juice before putting it into the dry mixture.

Wonderful! I made two different recipes for Easter. This one and another. Both were excellent. I used butter instead of shortening. Great texture and great taste.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Rolls were MOST EXCELLENT! Texture A+, taste A+. I make all my own bread and rolls and don't use a bread machine, food processor or Kitchen Aid mixer, I enjoy kneading dough. As someone who makes a lot of yeast doughs as a tip to others who don't. The flour in a recipe is just an estimate. Humidity and other variables dictate how much you will need. Also, remember that salt and sugar should be carefully measured. Salt is absolutely necessary but one of it's functions is to inhibit rising. Always allow plenty of time when making bread or rolls and remeber a dough that rises slowly that it gives a wonderful taste to the finished product.

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
This is excellent and you can adjust the sugar to your taste. Strawberries were on sale last week, so I pureed some and added to the lemonade. I buy the bottled lemon juice at Sam's (2 huge bottles) for $5.00 and I use Splenda. It is so much more economical (even using the Splenda) than to buy the ready made drinks like Fuze that I have been buying. I'm sure it is much cheaper than buying Crystal Light too.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
This was the best banana bread I've ever had. Since my husband is diabetic I used splenda and molasses instead of brown sugar, I used a little bit of cinnamon (good for diabetics) a pinch of nutmeg and walnuts. Texture was excellent.

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Fabulous is Right! I didn't have quick cooking oatmeal so I used the regular and it worked fine also. I made the 6 loaves and divided into 4 of the larger pans. It was a huge hit, thanks for sharing.

Garlic Bread Fantastique

This was excellent! I make my own bread and used this on the homemade bread and served with speghetti and homemade meat sauce. I wouldn't change a thing, thanks for the excellent recipe.
