Dave's Coleslaw

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
So good..... tried it both with sour cream and with buttermilk. Liked the sourcream much better. Seemed to help with the runny consistency. Like my coleslaw more on the white side so used about half the mustard.

Grandma's Best Ever Sour Cream Lasagna

Reviewed: May 21, 2009
I was out of ricotta so I tried this recipe and my family loved it! I used Barilla basil and tomato sauce in a jar and even threw in a cup of leftover spaghetti sauce. I used parmesan from a package- finely shredded. I have a "scratch" lasagna recipe that I have used for years that my family liked but never have I had so many raves. Going in my recipe box!

Broccoli Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
I have been watching my weight and needed a recipe that did not have cheese- I cheated a bit and added a sprinkle of parmesean on top and used crushed fat free croutons. Used Land o Lakes canola butter for the butter. I loved it and so did my husband. He said "save this one!" Going to try whole wheat flour next time, just to see if it can be done.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
My family loved this and my teenage son said it was "one of my better efforts"! I used boneless chicken breast and cut into smaller pieces which made the cooking time too much. A little dry- used convection setting. I plan on adding a little Thyme or Chives next time. It was a little too bland for me. But it goes in the recipe box because my son is very hard to please.

Ground Turkey Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
You would never guess this was made with turkey. A great alternative to regular lasagna. I took the advice of others and used regul;ar milk instead of milk powder, added one stalk of celery, diced and cooked with the turkey and red onion. I will try the italian tomatoes next time to see which I like best.
