Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

This recipe is INCREDIBLE. Since discovering it on this site 2 months ago I have made it every week at my family's request. The sauce is wonderful, I always make it with Barley and the flavors blend together really well. Thank you so much!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Excellent chili, full of flavor. My only complaint is all of the canned ingredients, it does make it faster to cook but someone diminishes the finished product.

Simple Baked Apples

Holy Cow this is good. My family liked it even better than regular apple crisp. The only thing I did differently is used 1/3C splenda and doubled the cinnamon, it was plenty sweet. We had leftovers and I used it in my oatmeal--delicious.

Bread Machine Calzone

These calzones were excellent. My husband said it is the best thing I have ever made(and I cook a lot). The dough tasted exactly like Pizza Hut's pan pizza. I do not have a bread machine so after proofing the yeast(mixing the yeast w/sugar and warm water for 10 minutes), I added the other ingredients and kneaded it for about 6-8 minutes. After that, I let the dough rise in a covered bowl in my oven on the lowest setting. Rolling the dough out was a breeze and the recipe is really quite simple with delicious results. Highly recommend.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Best pizza crust ever. I made the recipe as is but added the following spices: 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder and 1 Tbsp italian seasoning. This crust is great, crusty on the outside, but chewy on the inside. It was really good.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

These are by far the best cookies I have ever made. That is saying a lot too because I bake about once a week. I followed the recipe exactly and had none of the "texture" issues that the other reviewers have mentioned. These cookies were just a little crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. I got about 40 cookies and I baked them for about 9 minutes. Use room temperature butter(do not melt before creaming with the sugar). Also, the nut/chocolate amounts were perfect for our tastes. My husband will not leave them alone, and my co-workers say it is the best cookie they've ever tasted. Make these cookies, you will not regret it! They are better than subway or any other commercial cookie out there.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Excellent pot pie. Like others, I added corn and potatos to the filling, I also added .25 tsp garlic powder, .25 onion powder and .5 tsp seasoning salt. It was great and this recipe is definately a keeper!

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

What an amazing pie! Others recommended using 1/2 coconut milk for the filling, but my store did not have any. Instead, I used all of the half and half, but I added 1.5 tsp coconut extract to the filling and it was great. This is an awesome pie!

Chewy Oatmeal Cookies I

This is a great recipe, I used Macadamia nuts instead of walnuts but other than that I used the recipe to a T. Really soft and chewy-will make again.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

WOW, excellent pumpkin bread. Only change made was to substitute all of the oil with sweetened applesauce. I was worried about the texture and moistness because of the substitution but no need to worry-excellent!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Excellent recipe! This is one of the best things I have ever made. I have made dozens of recipes off of allrecipes.com but this is the first one that I felt compelled to review. Great authentic taste. I made a few changes(although the original recipe should taste good as is). To save on calories and fat, I used fat free 1/2 and 1/2-this did not take away from the thickness of the curry. I also doubled the sauce recipe, so I had lots left over to pour over the rice. I didn't have an outdoor grill available-so as another reviewer suggested I created a makeshift grill by placing a cookie rack over a cookie sheet and broiling the chicken on high(5 minutes on each side). Highly recommend this one! Also, as other reviewers have said-omit the extra salt-it is not needed
