Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
I was really tired of making the Banana nut bread and banana crumb muffins etc and was looking for something simple and quick with fewer ingredients. This fit the bill and turned out to be excellent. Thanks Laura Jean for suggesting ..." turn off the computer and go and make it! ":) I sprinted to the kitchen!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
This was really a wonderful recipe. I like to try recipes where there are not too many ingredients, or steps.I mix the "sauce" ingredients ( with 1/2 of the minced garlic added)and keep it ready in the fridge, in a small ziploc onions and garlic chopped and ready to go, and carrots and broccoli sliced in another ziploc, as soon as the kids get home I heat oil ,throw in the onions/garlic,then the veges, then the shrimp ,then the sauce...it's all hot and bubbly ,ready to eat in 10 minutes. I have made it thrice so far, once with shrimp ,twice with chicken breasts ,(cubed, seasoned with salt/paprika ,sprinkle cornflour and all purpose flour little to coat)....Thanks !

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
Hey Tina, Tried the Corn Dog Muffins. Made half the recipe, with hot dogs and half without hot ,but added chillies ,corn kernels as I am a vegetarian....It came out GREAT! The kids had it with mustard and I had it plain.....! The reason why we gave it 5 stars is coz of the few ingredients it needed, taste, look and ease of making. My 7 and 13 year old daughters did everything! Oh,we did not put brown sugar as corn bread mix IS sweet and my 7 year old sliced the dogs....they did the batter ,dogs, batter pattern so they turned out super! They are polishing it off while I am writing this! Thanks.this is a keeper! Meena
