Yellow Cake

No Bake Cookies I

Thanks for posting. Like others, I used creamy peanut butter, but these still turned out exactly as expected. I completely agree that having everything prepped while the first 4 ingredients come to a boil is extremely important.

Homemade Hashbrowns

Yum:) Key for me was to put them in the skillet, flatten them, then leave them alone until they were ready to turn. Can't wait to try these with other herbs and add ins.

Best Brownies

I made these for Christmas gifts one year. One of my friends hints every year that she would like more:) Now she asks for the raw dough, so that she can store in it sections and thaw out a little bit at a time:)

Chocolate Chip Mini-Muffins

Absolutely wonderful! Like others, I wanted a substitute for the outrageously priced pre-packaged mini muffins that my sons always request to take for snacks. I substituted 1/2 a stick of salted butter for the shortening and added a scant sprinkling of cinnamon. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. Definitely will make these again:)

Deluxe Sugar Cookies

Best sugar cookie dough I have ever worked with. Before chilling, I put the dough on a sheet of waxed paper and formed in into a roll. When I was ready to cut into shapes, I cut dough into 1/2 inch slices and rolled out between 2 pieces of parchment paper.

Tartar Sauce IV

Great recipe--easily scaled down to 4 servings. I substituted sweet gherkins for part of the dill pickles, and reduced the amount of lemon juice, because my family likes sweetish tartar sauce. I need to use white onion instead of yellow next time--onion was really loud, but sauce was still very good. No reason to buy store bought again. Thanks:)
