Blueberry Crumble

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
i had some fresh blueberries to use up, so I tried this recipe. It turned out fabulous. I didn't think it was too sweet. I added 1/2 cup splenda, 1tbls. tapioca and 1tbls. lemon juice the the bluberries. I didn't have a white cake mix, so I used the the new sugar free yellow cake mix. Very easy and will make again.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
This was excellent. Because of some of the reviews I read, I didn't use the full amount of liquid smoke. In the future, I will. We like a smokier flavor. I did add a Bannana leaf wrap around the roast prior to placing it in the slow cooker. That added a more authentic flavor, according to my husband who lived in Hawaii. Will make again.

Black Forest Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
I took this to a neighborhood picnic, everyone loved it. My husband was disappointed that there were no leftovers to bring home. Will have to make again. I used softened margarine in a plastic bag with a small hole cut in the corner, like a pastry bag, then made a lattice pattern across the top of the cake mix. Turned out great.

Asparagus and Cashews

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
My family loves asparagus and I'm always trying new ways to prepare it. This recipe is fantastic and very easy to prepare. The first time I made this I didn't have any cashews so substituted peanuts, the 2nd time I used the cashews. My family liked it better with the cashews.

This was great and very easy to make. I didn't have any manderin oranges so I sliced a fresh orange and placed them on top for the last 30 minutes of cooking. Also, great in sandwiches the next day.
