I know a 1 star rating is not the typical reaction to this recipe, however, I did not like it. My boyfriend LOVED this meal and if he was rating this recipe, he would give it 5 stars. We doubled the recipe, so we used 6 lbs. of boneless western style pork ribs , 2 cans of beef broth, and a mixture of 3 different bbq sauces (Sweet Baby Ray: Honey, Open Pit: Original, and Kraft: Thick N' Spicy). We took the meat out of the slow cooker after 4 hours, shredded it, added the mixture of bbq sauces, and put it in the oven for 30 minutes. I think the problem is I am not a huge fan of things cooked with beef broth. It makes food tastes funny to me. The meat was also fatty, which was not appealing. I could only eat half of the sandwich. I won't be making this again.
