About this Cook
I love to cook for my family and friends- nothing makes me feel better than to bring people joy through food- we all have to eat so you might as well enjoy it! I also LOVE throwing parties/dinner parties!
My favorite things to cook
Pizza, Pasta, Casserloes, Homemade Ranch Dressing, Breads
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother was one of 5 on a farm and grew up being taught to make everything from scrach- it's cheaper and tastes better!
My cooking triumphs
I have perfected my mac & cheese and a few pasta dishes- right now I am working on my prefect homemade pizza.
My cooking tragedies
I almost runied Valentines Day for me and my boyfriend by cooking a new Thai dish- when I went to put the fish sauce in the smell made me almost throw up- I couldn't eat it after I smelled that, but he said it was good.

Slow Cooker Carnitas
SO easy, and so good. I used a "Fuzzy's" style garlic sauce to go on top of the pork and topped with cheese, lettuce and feta cheese. YUM.

Lime Chicken with Cilantro Cream Sauce and Roasted Zucchini
Yummy! I marinated mine in milk and the seasonings instead of lime juice. I made Rice instead of Pasta. Skipped the zucchini b/c I don't care for it. Fallowed the sauce recipie, put I put the Cilantro and Garlic thru the magic bullet instead of putting the liquid thru b/c I dont have a belnder, also thickend it up with a little flour. It was so good!! I served it with broccoli and fresh baked rolls =)
