Cake Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
I love making these messy things! I melt good quality choc. chips for the coating, but I've used meijer brand choc. chips too. They taste good, but don't look as pretty. I also add a teaspoon of corn syrup to the chocolate to give it a shine. German chocolate cake and coconut frosting is delicious. Tastes like an Almond Joy! I dip them with a fork, and push them onto a cold cookie sheet with a toothpick.

yummy and easy! I made it just like the recipe said, except I was free and easy with the grated chocolate.

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

I use two pounds of sausage, and served it over rice. My whole family liked it, even my very picky 5 year old. I'll keep this one!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
I use this recipe all the time. In fact, I have it by heart now! Very cream-cheesy and delicious. I've also melted a cup of chocolate chips into it, and added a little more sugar to make chocolate cream cheese frosting. yum

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
I used a 1/2 cup chocolate chips in the cheesecake filling instead of a full cup. These were the best brownies I've ever made. I made them for a bake sale and had to make a second batch because we ate the first! I also doubled the recipe and it worked fine, but took close to an hour to bake. Fantastic!

Buttermilk Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
I just made this pie, and OH MY GOSH, it was delicious! I used a graham cracker crust, and added 4 eggs because my 4 year old cracked the eggs for me, and a fair amount of the whites ended up on the counter. I made a blueberry sauce for the top, and I'm confident there will be no left-overs.
