Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
My whole family enjoyed this. Two adults and four kids (9 down to 4). I would make it next time with a bit less cayenne pepper. I may have fudged a bit and added more than was called for. Overall great easy recipe.

Cornbread I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2012
I needed something quick and without flour (gluten free). This fit the bill. It was a little too salty for my liking, so next time I would just add a bit less salt. Otherwise, I would say this is a good quick substitute for a cornbread with flour.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I have had this before, but never made it until last night. It was more work than I expected, but worth it in the end. I followed the chilling and sealing steps carefully, as other reviewers mentioned that being important. It turned out great. The only thing I did differently as all, was I melted the butter. I will try this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Yum. I made this then heated it on the stove- still good, not too runny.

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
I loved it! My kids enjoyed it too. Dad can't wait to come home and try it. The only differences were, I used 2% and plain yogurt (since that's what I had). I only microwaved the potatoes for 6 minutes/ three. I think I would do a tad longer next time, but not much. Also, I chunked them instead of just scooping them out. Peeled the skin first. I can't wait for the leftovers.

Baked Potato Soup

I thought this soup was quick and easy to make and delicious. I added sour cream, omitted the hot sauce (small children), but this is a one I will make again.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
These tasted great. I didn't have any flaxseed on hand, so I put an equal amount of flour. I used all whole wheat flour. I also was a tad shy on honey. I tried the method someone suggested of shaping it in the pan with about 1/2- 1 inch space on each side. They did turn out chewy and delicious. I think they were a bit crumbly, perhaps because I used too much flour. I added what raisins I had, as well as pecans. I will make this again.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
Very tasty and I didn't mess them up. The only change I made to the recipe was to add half the flour in whole wheat. I followed the advice about mixing the butter with the brown sugar and cinnamon and had no problem with it running out. I also lined the bottom with parchment paper. I cooked them at 350 for 30-35 minutes. They came out great no goo in the middle, which is what I was worried about. Also, I doubled the frosting as some have suggested, but for me it was a bit much and I love frosting, so next time I will just make what the recipe calls for. Overall, I love this and can't wait to make it again.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
We enjoyed this recipe just as it is written. We had three little ones (5 and under) eating it and they all gobbled it right up. We did double it for our family. If my husband had been home I would have needed a bit more it was such a hit.
