Double-Crust Rhubarb Pie

Fresh Blueberry Pie I

Made this yesterday within hours of picking my blueberries and it was GREAT! I didn't have any lemons to zest, so I just added a little extra lemon juice. I made a note on my copy of the recipe to reduce the sugar (some), if I am using freshly picked blueberries... it was a little sweet, probably because the blues berries were so fresh. OH! two more things, I didn't use the nutmeg and used about 5 1/2 cups of blueberries.

Berry Good Coffee Cake

I tried this recipe and found the batter was way too thick, and there wasn't much batter. The batter did not spread well, either... just way too thick. I'm not an advaced baker... so I didn't know how to remedy the problem. I noted some of the reviewers said they added milk to the batter to thin it out. Won't be trying this one again.

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Chips

I made these today and while they had a good flavor, I wasn't crazy about the texture.... I would like them crisper. It was a lot of work slicing the potatoes, then putting them individually on cookie sheet, then turning them over, etc.... next time I may try the recipe for Cinnamon Sweet Potato slices. Thanks for submitting.... like I said, very nice flavor.

Aunt Kaye's Rhubarb Dump Cake

I have made this recipe many times. When I didn't have a whole pound of rhubarb, I added strawberries once and pitted fresh cherries once (with cherry jello. I have used splenda and sugar free jello. I have used fresh pineapple with just a few table spoons of brown sugar and peach jello. It is the type of recipe that can be modified so easily.
