Fudge Puddles

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
Amazing!!!!! I used chunky peanut butter. I also used mini muffin liners which made life so much easier. I used the double boiler fir melting and mixing the chocolates and sweetened condensed milk. If you make the wells deep enough in each one, you'll have almost exactly enough cookie/fudge ratio.

Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
Absolutely the best banana bread!!!! I basically followed the original. I did as others did by adding all the ingredients in the order listed into my Welbilt bread maker. I added a dash of vanilla, but everything else I kept the same. When the maker was done with the quick bread cycle (1hr 43m) I took the pan out of the maker and let the bread stay in it until completely cool. This helped finish cooking the bread. SUPER moist and it even has a bit of glaze on it.

Italian Chicken Sausage Risotto

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
We were eating this about once a week at my house! I didn't make any changes that I can remember. It was my first go at Risotto so I did have to look up how long it was supposed to take. The times are way longer! I thought I was about to have rice soup! Perfect though to make and I love telling people I make "Risotto". :o)

Butter Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
We LOVED this cake!! I topped it with "Rich Chocolate Frosting" from here. I didn't find it at all dry. I think it tasted wonderful and it is on it's third day and still as moist as day one. So easy to make!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

I too halved the recipe. This is SO yummy! Had left over and sent it to the neighbor's house, she said they kept eating the frosting and never got around to making the cake!

World's Easiest Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Reviewed: May 13, 2013
I just rated this but cannot see how to edit. I wanted to add... If you make this and your crust come out flat, it may be that your yeast has died. Yeast is a living fungus, if the yeast has died it obviously will not live to consume the salt in the recipe which will cause your dough to not rise. Also, I didn't have "sea salt". I used plain old table salt.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
This was so good I made it 2 days in a row because it was in high demand at my house! I followed the advice from other reviewers of using garlic and poultry seasoning in the homemade cream of chicken. I also added a can of cream of chicken.. not realizing that this has you making your own (which Ive now been using on ANY recipe that calls for cream of chicken!). Those were the only changes I made. I used more garlic the second time I made it.. I used 1tsp but that was a bit much so next time Ill make it with 1/2 tsp.. Ive also now stocked up on pie crust and chicken so I can make this more.. Update 3/7/2011: We are still eating this a lot at my house. This is by far the best dish I have made to date! I am SOOOO glad I had found this recipe!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
This was a really great roast! I followed the reviewers advice of using 2 cans beef broth instead of water and I did rub down the roast with olive oil and lemon pepper. Other than that I followed the rest. It was SOOOOO good!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
My whole family LOVED this recipe! I followed some of the other reviews by ommiting the white wine and using 10oz chicken broth instead. I also used 1 can of the condensed golden mushroom soup as well as the equivlant of 1 can cream of chicken (I make my own cream of chicken soup). I didn't have Angel hair pasta so I used linguini (sp?) instead. The chicken I cubed (like the picture). Everything else I followed to a T. I plan on making this dinner a LOT for my family!!! It deserves the 5 stars in my house because I was able to easily adapt it to my family.

Classic Hamburger Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2013
Best thing ever! I've made this weekly since discovering it!! I made it a little easier by using Betty Crocker brand "Loaded Mashed" instant potatoes. It was a 5 star recipe prior to that though...

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2013
Best. Recipe. Ever. I made nearly as written. I used southern style (the square cut) potatoes and used Mexican blend cheese because it is what I had on hand. Other than that, I used the cream of potato soups, the diced ham, and the sour cream. I did forget the parm cheese until after I had baked it but I did top it afterward. I am not sure it mattered though!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread II

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
I would have given 5 stars but I altered it a little. I used the 1 cup milk (cold), 3T butter, 4T sugar, 1T brown sugar, 1 egg (cold), 1t salt, 2t cinnamon, dash of Vanilla extract, 3C King Author bread flour, 1C raisins that I soaked in cold water. I ran it on my machine on the 1.5 lb setting by mistake. It was a tad chewy in the middle, but still SO SO good! I immediately threw another batch in the machine. This is such a great recipe!!! I removed the honey only because my 8 month old is eating this too and they can't have honey this early. My bread maker settings I used was (accidentally) 1.5lbs, sweet bread, light crust. I added the raisins at the fruit and nut beep on my machine.

Marlene's Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
I tried to make this but our power went out when I was 30 minutes into boiling the meat! I put it in the fridge and came back to it the next night and boiled it some more. It is easy and good if you don't like the mushroom version. I only gave it 4 stars out of the fairness that I was unable to make it as the directions said due to the power issues.. I couldn't for the life of me find the right kind of steak so I used sirloin. Like I said, this is a VERY easy recipe to follow and I liked it!

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I followed the original recipe. It is way too sweet (and I love sweet things)!! I gave this 4 stars though because after many many attempts with other recipes, this is the first one that looks, feels, and tastes like cake frosting!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
I followed the directions but it was certainly not as I imagined! The egg never fully cooked and the top was burned (in an attempt to cook the eggs.. lol). I dont know if it's because my oven sucks or maybe I missed something somewhere..
