This is the moistest, most flavorful chocolate cake recipe ever. My family has made crazy cake for years and our own "tweaked" version is a tradition for every special event. Our recipe is basically this exact one, but we always add a teaspoon of almond extract to the cake itself, and a dash of almond to the buttercream frosting. We also always melt chocolate chips and drizzle and swirl them into the frosting. Nothing better than breaking through a hard chocolate shell to get to sweet creamy frosting and rich, moist chocolate cake!

Grilled Salmon with Avocado Dip

I used sour cream instead of yogurt, so I suppose I can't rate this recipe fairly, but I didn't like the way the dip tasted with the salmon. I liked each separately, and I LOVE salmon and avocado, but I just don't think the two flavors go well together.

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting was REALLY sweet, a little too sweet, and I only used half the recommended amount of powdered sugar!! This recipe could use some tweaking because I'm sure if I left out any more powdered sugar it wouldn't be light and fluffy enough like frosting should be. Maybe some whipped egg whites?

Light PHILLY 20-Minute Skillet Salmon

I couldn't find that flavor of cream cheese so I just used regular cream cheese and added some garlic powder and italian seasoning. The flavors of the cream cheese, cucumber, dill, and salmon was so creamy, but light and refreshing. I served it with a caprese salad with the leftover cucumber :) It was delish!
