Two-Meat Spaghetti Sauce

Very good recipe. I added a couple of things to make it spicier. I added 1 each of habanero and jalapeno pepper (fresh) (very finely minced; seeds included). I also substituted 4 ounces of fresh mushrooms that I soaked in some cabernet wine (15 minutes) for the canned mushrooms. Everything else I did as stated. Easy to prepare and quite tasty.

Family Sicilian Sauce and Meatballs

Wonderful sauce. A little labor intensive, but if you got the time then go for it. I added some red pepper flakes (pizza topping) to the sauce with about an hour left in the cook time. Gave it that little extra kick.

Crispy Fried Fish

Very good recipe. Used fresh-caught white bass in place of cod. Really helped cover the "gaminess" of the fish.

Vicki's Hush Puppies

Very good recipe. Followed directions, but added a couple of finely chopped fresh jalapenos to the mix. Gave it a little extra kick.
