Tomato Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
This was delicious! Scored tomatoes and then boiled for 20 minutes in order to easily peel. Have to roll out pie crust to fit in pie dishes. Left out the bacon and used 1 1/2 cups cheddar and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Used about 11 big basil leaves.

great! leave out the cherries and the sugar and the soda water. a double batch in necessary for any gathering (fits in the smaller pasta pot). For a party at our house, 3 or 4 batches are necessary.

Simple, and I added maple/dijon mustard as well. I used wheat bread and provolone instead and used mcintosh apples because that's what I had on hand.

Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
We loved this! I made with Bumble Bee tuna, no onion, just a splash of vinegar, & added garlic, parlsey & paprika. I made Jerry's on Country White & mine on whole wheat. Broiled 1 slice with cheese & other slice with tuna, then put them together. Use a little less mayo.
