About this Cook
I having been cooking for over 20 years both professionally and for good eats. I love to bake and experiment with new types of food. I frequent for new and exciting recipes as well as low-fat recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. Chocolate Silk Pie is my all time favorite. I'm not sure that cooking Lobster is my favorite but it is my favorite thing to eat. Living in Maine, seafood is plentiful. I also love shrimp, scallops and haddock. Cooking spaghetti sauce from scratch, preparing lasagna, down to simple old hamburgers are among my favorites!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family favorites to cook are home-made Pirogies stuffed with sauerkraut and some stuffed with potato and cheese. I also love home-made Kielbasa, not smoked, with mustard seeds - although I haven't had the opportunity to make it. My great-grandmother use to make it.

Baked Pork Chops I
I love the other reviews. I too adjusted and made some changes. I had no eggs, so I dipped chops in sour cream, flour and Panko crumbs. Omitted the wine, as I don't drink alcohol and cooked for 45 minutes total. Nice dish. But 1 1/2 in the oven for pork chops is too long for my liking. Thanks for posting and all the reviews!
