Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2006
Yummy, but we put it together the night before and still was soggy with only 2.5 hours. Probably would be better prepared then heated and served on same day.

This sauce is awesome. Very savory (soy sauce)if you like it sweeter you may want to adjust, but it's great as is.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
Yumm! My husband brought this to work and it smelled great (I had a couple bites before it left the house, it wasn't cooked completely done and it was still great!) I use fresh sage instead of the other seasonings and sourdough bread that I cubed and dried in the oven.

This soup was good, but not quite the same as the Thai restaurant. It was kinda tart/sour and missing a - I don't know, maybe more coconut?? Still not too bad and pretty quick.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
This was ok. I followed the advice of others who rated the recipe and lowered the cornstarch and increased the cocoa. Maybe we didn't cook it long enough but it was very loose and even with the extra cocoa wasn't chocolatey enough. Perhaps I will try another version of instant pudding.

Wow, this is goooood! I am amazed it is very moist, like a brownies. I didn't have vanilla, so I used almond ext. & it was great. Next time I will add chocolate chips like others suggest.

yummy, but crumbly. I will have to work on making the oatmeal sections stick together more. Otherwise, the taste is awesome

Key Lime Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
These are really good. They remind me of a lemon bar (which I love). My husband made these because he was the one to buy the bag of key limes (I didn't want to squeeze 2 dozen limes to get enough juice!!) and he thought the recipe was easy and we both love the flavor. Yumm.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
I have totally changed my mind on these. I made a double batch and loved them (I must have added extra sugar or something), the second and third time i just followed the recipe and they were not sweet and not enjoyable. Too bad, I will just try another...

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
Yumm, I tweaked it with what i had on hand (added corn, used rotel instead of salsa, no beans) and we loved it. It is definately one of those recipes that are even better when you tweak them for your family and they won't suffer any ill effects. We will make it (or something similar;) ) sometime soon.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
The flavor was great (I used real ginger), but it was VERY watery. We put some on noodles & broccoli and that was great. I also only cooked them for 30 min. I am shocked to read how many people would cook them for a whole hour, maybe a whole tenderloin for that long would be ok - not chops. Mine were a hint of pink on the inside and cooked to temp. and they were very juicy. Next time I may reduce the sauce to make it more glaze-like or reduce the H2O.
