Made these for a Superbowl party and they went FAST. Baked instead of fried. Added jalapeno cheddar and regular cheddar for more taste. Also used Panko breadcrumbs for a crispier outside

Made these for a superbowl party. I baked these instead of frying and used generic hot sauce - turned out fantastic! Made double the sauce for dipping

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
Suprisingly really good! Crab Rangoon is my favorite thing from Chinese food restaurants back home and its hard to find anything comparable where I am now... My boyfriend loved them and he's skeptical of a lot of things I make for the first time - Definately going to make these again.

Jalapeno Hummus

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
LOVE THIS! I've been getting the Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus from Whole Foods but now I won't have to - homemade is just as good! Followed recipe pretty much as is with 2 exceptions - only used 1 Tbsp of Tahini, added 1Tbsp of Olive Oil to make it more creamy. Blended and then added extra Jalapeno, Cilantro, Red Pepper Flakes until it was to taste for me. Thank you for this one!

I've never made a soup before so was uncertain how this would turn out - super easy tasted SO good. Read some of the other reviews and also used half the basil. Will be making this again.

Vegan Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2011
I'm not vegan but was craving cupcakes and wanted to make a healthier alternative. These are amazing! Cook time was approx 20 min. I substituted sunflower oil for the coconut oil as one of the reviewers suggested. Used the Vanilla powdered sugar frosting recipe on here and will definately be making these cupcakes again! Thank you

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
My puppy LOVES these! So glad I found this recipe so my puppy can be healthy too by avoiding processed treats (and saving me money). Will use this again as a base and try adding other ingredients that are dog friendly like apples, blueberries, etc. Rolled dough about 1/4 thick and used a 1/2 tsp metal measuring teaspoon to cut out small circular snack sized treats. Baked 20 min, then left in oven to 'cool' and get crispy for another 5 min or so.

This is so good and so easy to make with ingredients that are usually on hand. The only changes I make are to add a little paprika and garlic powder.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

So Good! I use one egg instead of 2 so they're more cookie than cake-like and a splash more vanilla extract.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
Made this tonight and it was a big hit. Wanted a change from my go to breaded talapia dish and this was just what I was looking for. I left out the red onions in the salsa and it turned out just fine. Will definitely make this dish again.

Homemade Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2012
Wow. I never realized it was this easy to make butter! I poured the cream into my food processor and in 10 min it was butter. Next time I will try using a cheesecloth to drain and use the leftover buttermilk for pancakes. I can't wait to try it again and add different herbs/flavors. I usually buy organic unsalted butter for cooking and it's a little pricy - buying the organic cream and just making my own will save so much. Thank you!!
