Diana's Hawaiian Bread Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2002
Amazingly delicious. Soft, doughy, yummy. Be sure not to overcook or they'll be dry! AND be sure to add an extra half cup of flour to the mix. Also, it makes more like 2 dozen rolls.

SO easy and delicious! I make a batch and pop individual servings in the freezer in ZipLoc containers. Awesome to pop in the microwave! Yummy!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2001
YUM. The cream cheese frosting is what really gives it that Cinnabon flavor, and the brown sugar/cinnamon filling. Our 11-year old daughter made these and they were delicious. Thank you to the person who invented the bread machine! There is virtually no mess involved except for when you turn the dough out onto the floured surface. CHANGES TO THE RECIPE: Next time I will add an additional 5 minutes, at least, to the baking time. The middle cinnamon rolls were doughy. HELPFUL HINT: Use dental floss to cut your rolls, they come out beautifully! Slide the floss under the dough and criss-cross it to make the cut.

Cheese Lover's Tuna Casserole

Delicious! So easy, and the kids loved it. Okay, so they picked out the mushrooms from the cream of mushroom soup. Anyone have an idea on something I could substitute for the cream of mushroom, but that would be just as good? We'll be making this recipe a lot!

Albino Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2001
Okay, I cheated. I kind of merged this recipe with the Chicken Parmesan Pasta recipe, and added a few things of my own. It was good! I used penne pasta, browned my chicken with garlic, seasoned with salt & pepper, and mixed everything together with lots of real, grated parmesan (not the one in the green can), some parsley, milk, and thickened it with a little milk mixed with flour. You can even get away with skim milk on this! We'll make this again. You can do many variations on this.

No Peek Irish Beef Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2001
Delicious! A couple of suggestions...next time I will brown the meat to seal in the juices. Even after cooking for 5 1/2 hours, the meat wasn't as soft as I would have liked. Also, IMPORTANT, I will add a teaspoon of salt and a dash of pepper. The veggies needed some seasoning and were a tad bland. But overall, this is a WINNER RECIPE! Incredible stew, and so easy. Oh, and a question for the person whose veggies weren't soft after 5 hours of baking....was your oven on? :)

Interesting recipe. Our 11-year old daughter loved it! Will probably make again just because it's so easy. Maybe *I* will like it better next time 'round. :(

Some soft pieces, but mostly still a pretty tough cut of meat. The marinade was good and we'll try it on a better cut of meat next time.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

Some kids will go for the peas, others won't. This dish is DELICIOUS and SO easy to make. One boo boo, my hubby somehow put 5 TIMES the amount of soy sauce. (Don't ask...) SO, it was mighty potent, but I know when it's made right it is just delicious. Try it!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2001
Pretty good, hubby really liked it. You could get away with probably half the sauce. I think you could also make an easier honey mustard with just honey and mustard, leaving out the Karo and the onion powder. Truthfully, I think there are better recipes for a pounded piece of chicken breast.
