Sukiyaki Beef

This stuff was great, and easy to do! I did thicken the beef broth with a little corn starch for a nice texture. and I used the vegetables I had on hand which included zuchinni and bok choy.

Several of you mentioned that this pie was bland or needed more spices. That could be because you are using the wrong kind of apples. You must use a crisp, tart pie apple such as jonagold, empire, pink lady, rome, macintosh to attain proper flavor. Never use Red Delicious, it is strictly and eating apple.

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

I serve this as an elegant dessert for banquets. I have never had the pleasure of fresh raspberries, so I add a dollop of whipped cream and frozen raspberries. It's easy, elegant and everyone loves it.

Tar Heel Pie

This a a great pie, like a recipe I used to have from the Pisgah View Guest Ranch in North Carolina. I send this pie with campers because it's firm and packs well and provides lots of energy. Because I'm cheap I use peanuts instead of pecans and sometimes I add a 1/2 cup of peanut butter for a great taste.

Almond Cookies II

These are great cookies! Very tasty and easy to make.Watch the time though, in my oven it took only 9 minutes to bake them instead of the 12-15 in the recipe. It's a good recipe for my low carb diet and for my wheat intolerant friend for whom they were a birthday treat.

Sauteed Apples

These are so easy and good. I serve them over pancakes. I have a great Pampered Chef apple peeler that makes it a snap to prepare the apples.Apples slightly cooked this way would make a great pie filler too. I have also used left-overs a filling for coffee cake.

Asian Chicken Salad

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

This is a great recipe, BUT... no way can you get 36 decent sized servings of ANYTHING out of a 9x13 pan! This recipe makes 24 servings, max. Great recipe, though, I will use it again. Beckyaunt

Cherry Dessert

This recipe is great. I made it with huckleberries which are very expensive but go a long way witht his dessert. The fresh cream was great, but you could substitute Whipped topping if you wish. BECKYAUNT

Hearty Breakfast Cookies

I cook at a wilderness camp and these cookies make a great breakfast item for backpacking, camping and other off site events. We send them on car trips too, they're a no mess breakfast.
