About this Cook
I'm a mommy of two HUNGRY boys, and a 'food-SNOB' daddy to please. I pride myself in having yummy and fresh baked goods on my counter 75% of the time for my guys and anyone who drops in. I wow our dinner guests with my phenomenal comfort food (with a twist). AND I'm a young funky 22 year old.. So it needs to be on a budget, simple, different, but most of all DELICIOUS! Sound impossible?? Well don't kid yourself- when my loved ones get hungry.. they don't go to grandmas house- they come to me. :)
My favorite things to cook
My family's favorite go-to meal is.. Pollo Rosa Maria, with loaded garlic smashed potatoes, honey glazed baby carrots, and challah bread! We have it once a week, no kidding.. I usually have my great grandmas UNBEATABLE peanut butter cookies in on the counter- that way we have something to snack on.. and the plus of always having fresh cookies? The neighbor has their baby- cookies.. My brother's girlfriend has him sleeping on the couch again- cookies... That time of the month?.. cookies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm going to use this to say... I am on a quest for the worlds BEST brownie recipe.. I usually try one a week- and they always come out just average... If you have an incredible, fudgey, chewy, brownie recipe, PLEASE- drop me a line!

Sy's Challah
Oh my gosh!!! I'm throwing out my quick challah recipe, this one is amazing! I prefer a less sweet, more salty challah- so I added a half teaspoon of salt, and WOW! MAKE THIS BREAD!

Challah I
This is a great challah recipe! I typically make the quick challah for french toast and sandwich bread, but this is one I'll make for dinner parties! My two year old loves it and so does dad!
