Savory Chicken Breasts

My picky husband loved it, but my kids didn't like it at all. It didn't think it was horrible, but I didnt think it was that great, not alot of flavor. It does have some potential though. Not enough sauce, I think I would add more milk. I didnt taste the cheese. I used shredded swiss because that was all I had, so maybe that's why. I also thought it had too much bread crumbs. The breadcrumbs pretty much just turned into a soggy mush (I mixed the butter w/the breadcrumbs before putting it on). I also had to cook it about 20 mins longer than what the directions said. I probably will try this again since my husband liked it so much. I will do it a little different next time though.

Cottage Cheese Loaf I

I made this because of the good reviews, but I didnt think it was very good. Maybe it would have been better with the onions, but no one in my house likes onions except for me. It was basically just mush that had pretty much no flavor.

I thought this was good, but it didnt have a whole lot of flavor. It seemed to be missing something. I think it needs more seasonings or something. You really have to like mushrooms for this one. The leftovers went to waste.

Penne and Vodka Sauce

I thought this turned out pretty good. I used half and half in place of the cream and I used regular bacon in place of the pancetta. I could not find it in my grocery store. It worked out fine though because it still tasted good. I will definitely make this again.

Bleu Cheese Macaroni

I thought it was ok. Mine turned out pretty dry and it had a really strong blue cheese flavor. I like blue cheese so I didnt mind that part. My husband did not like it though. It seemed kinda boring to me. I did not put the peppers in it though because we dont like them. Not sure if that had anything to do with it being boring. Definitely more of a side dish than a main course.

President Ford's Braised Eye Round Steak

Mine turned out a little tougher than it was supposed to. I know that I didnt coopk it too high so maybe it just had to cook longer. I used tenderloin steaks, not sure if that makes too much of a difference though. I gave it 3 stars though because even though it was a little dry it still tasted really good. My husband liked it too.
