Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
This is a delicious recipe, I used ground pork for the meat balls...added some ground cloves because my Mother-in-law makes a wicked sauce and is Italian , I used about 1/8th of a tsp but you can play with it. Will be making this from now on.

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
DELICIOUS!!!! It reminds me of Thanksgiving dinner all in one casserole! Made it as is. Then made it again without Swiss , used monterey instead , liked that a bit better but both ways are yummy. I make this every month as my family loves it.

JUST made these , they're wonderful for frosting or plain with a little sugar , i pressed some , left some in a ball , they cooked beautifully. I also added 1 1/2 tsp Almond extract , DELICIOUS. I'm keeping this in my permanent files. THANK YOU!

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
Myself and my family LOVED this cake, JUST finished a piece. It is dense but very moist and flavorful. I made a double layer square and it turned out wonderfully. The ONLY change I made was substituting the buttermilk for sour cream. I will try it eventually with the buttermilk just to see. I frosted it with a traditional home made buttercream. Sprinkled it with pulverized walnuts. DEFINITELY A KEEPER!

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
I tried this cake,it was good but I have had better...it's great if you like a light, fluffy chocolate cake , I prefer dense and VERY moist. Over all it's a good cake but I'll stick with my recipe and will post that soon. Ty for the submission , it's fun to try new things.

Low Carb Cauliflower Leek Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Easy to make and very tasty , I made it twice , once as is then again with less leeks and more cauliflower , both ways are good but I prefer less leeks. Really great recipe.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
I'm sorry but I had to give only 1 star , literally just finished a very small bowl. It was not creamy at all , very bland and someone stated it tasted like flour and butter and that was correct in my experience. Still trying to find a very good Mac n cheese recipe after years and years . One that uses a roux can be delicious , I think in this case it's the cheese , I'm going to try a gruyere and cream instead of milk , bummer :(
