Pork Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
This recipe was alright. Nice change from the porkchops with cream of mushroom recipe, but found this sauce lacking depth. I think next time I wouldn't use light sour cream, I'd add garlic with the onions, add some beef or chicken bouillon and maybe a splash of wine. It could also be because I ate it with egg noodles...rice probably would've been more hearty. Either way, glad I tried it.

Fried Egg Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
I have no idea why people wouldn't try this with some ketchup. It's great and we have always had it with ketchup since I was little. I love fried egg sandwiches, this is how they were meant to be eaten! Thanks for sharing!

Eggnog Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
I rated this 3 stars because after reading the reviews, I thought it'd be soooo good. It was good, but not 'SUPER, OH MY GOODNESS, THIS IS THE BEST CHEESECAKE EVER!' good. I didn't think it was all that, but I made it for company and everyone was raving over it...perhaps it's just me?...or maybe they were being polite?

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
This recipe has been made in my family since I was little. It's fabulous, moist, delicious, and if you don't have pecans...it doesn't matter...it still tastes great! (i usually never add the pecans) I always get compliments on this cake.

Brazilian Chicken with Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I have now made this many times and the following is my advice for changes. The first time I made it, it was fabulous, second time not so much...only because i didn't have minced ginger (used powdered...yuck), and ran out of garlic cloves...used powdered...yuck! SO...USE FRESH ingredients! I also used a large can of diced tomatoes NOT DRAINED instead of fresh and the result was a fantastic, plentiful sauce! Instead of jalepenos I used a few pinches of crushed chili flakes...easier to monitor the amount of spiciness. I also cut down the cayenne by about half. Remember to salt the chicken before hand and a add some splashes in the sauce...simmer chicken in it for 15 mins...served with COCONUT RICE...very very good.
