Italian Stewed Tomatoes
I got this recipe from a church cookbook years ago and love it. I don't use the basil, but do add 1/2 tsp salt. We use the tomatoes as marinara, or as a side dish. Great for canning.

Ranch Dressing II
Dressing had an overly mayonaise taste and was so thick you had to use a spoon. I added some vinegar for flavor. The dip made from the recipe was the consistency of dressing- liquidy. The buttermilk gave the dip a horrible taste.We added sugar, more seasonings but nothing helped.
