Shrimp Pil Pil

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
I would cut the garlic in half next time. I did not have sweet paprika, only regular paprika. I didn't know if this was the same thing so I was afraid to put in 3 whole tablespoons of it. I used a 1/4 tsp of paprika. It made a nice little sauce to add over fettucine. One kid liked it, one definitely did not (too spicy) and I'm sitting on the fence.

Cornbread Muffins II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Dry, cornmeal tasted raw. Raw in the middle, overcooked on outside. Couldn't peel muffin cups off...much much much prefer the Cornbread Muffins 1 recipe.

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
Loved by all, children and adults alike! Tastes just like pumpkin pie with a bit of a cheesecake aftertaste. My spin: use 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. ginger, 1/2 tsp. cloves, 1/2 tsp allspice. Bake @325F for the given time. Edge with a knife. Leave sit in oven 1 hour turning oven off and leaving door ajar. Then rest on counter 1 hour. Chill 4 hours. To be fair, I never tried it the other way. But my way was wonderful.
