Movie Star Popcorn

I agree with the reviewer who questions why anyone would eat microwave popcorn when it is so easy to make great, much healthier stove-top popcorn. All one has to do is read the ingredients on the microwave junk to know that it cannot be good for you. This recipe was wonderful. I have tried it twice so far; I like to add different flavors. Once I did it with chili powder and it was delicious. Another time we used parmesan cheese. You can do a lot with flavoring. And I definitely like using a little real butter.

Basic Crepes

So GLAD I read the reviews carefully before using this recipe. I, too, mixed the wet ingredients together, as opposed to wet & dry. Made the batter very nice and smooth. Excellent. I made vegetable crepes for dinner last night (sauteed eggplant, red peppers & onion) and then raspberry & whipped cream dessert crepes. So good, we are going to serve these to dinner guests next month.

Seafood Bake for Two

I love to cook but because I am working and going to school, I get to do it only once a week. I made this recipe last night for my husband and we both loved it. I cut down on the liquid after reading the reviews here and I'm glad I did. Served it with Parmesan string beans. Delicious.

Fish Tacos

Not a big fan of deep-fry, but I have to say, this was superb. I have made it a few times. In a hurry, or don't feel like frying? One time I used frozen crispy fish sticks. Not as good as the original, obviously, but still really good.

Tuna Fish Pea Salad

Liked the idea, but canned peas? Tried it twice. Second time I used frozen peas and it tasted much better. Also, I used the olive oil mayo, not regular. As I said, good idea. Just monkey with it a bit to your own tastes.

Rosemary Shortbread Cookies

Almost twenty years ago, I bought a rosemary shortbread cookie at a bakery in Santa Monica. I never forgot that wonderful cookie, and I never found it again. Even that bakery stopped selling them, which was disappointing. I decided to hunt down a recipe. I am so glad I found this! I made a batch this morning and they are even better than the one I tasted all those years ago. Try this recipe. You will not be disappointed! It is going to be my new holiday gift cookie.
