About this Cook
Married black male with a son who is currently 6 years old.
My favorite things to cook
Barbecue, Soups, Italian, Fish and Southern Cuisine I grew up on.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Large Southern Meals.
My cooking triumphs
I pretty hard on myself. Have been told that I make some pretty good ribs. I had a shrimp and rice dish that my ex-wife would die for. I was told that I cook pretty good filipino food (current wife is filipino) and I do most of the cooking. I guess a triumph would be Christmas Dinner at 14 years old.
My cooking tragedies
A Ginger Pot roast that even I could not eat. I can usually salvage most anything.

Quick and Easy Pancit
Great Recipe. I made 3 batches of this using this recipe as a guideline and everyone loved it. I was shocked! A little tip for those who are time constrained or lazy like me. I utilized a whole roasted chicken for my meat and simply bought cole slaw mix for my cabbage and carrots portion. Added drippings from roasted chicken for extra flavor. I also boiled a pot of water and stuck my noodles inside for about a minute or two. Allowed to remain in hot water for another 5 minutes and drained. Cutting the pancit is a must and its much easier to make in small batches but be careful with the soy sauce.
