Dessertlover's Classic Caramel Sauce

I didn't know making caramel was so easy! I was afraid when I made the recipe the first time because I got sugar clumps before I put in the cream. But the cream smooths it all out. It isn't as thick as jarred caramel though but I like that. I also use half dark brown sugar and half white sugar to give a nice color.

Caramel Apple Bars II

Way too little apples and way too much sugar. Honestly I don't think with the caramel sauce the crust needs any sugar. I would also at least triple the apples if I make it again.

SO different and yummy. My boyfriend thinks it tastes weird with the filling but everyone else loved it so I don't care what he says. It is a refreshing holiday change.

Mocha Nut Butter Balls

I have never reviewed an item but I had to defend these cookies. My mother made them every Christmas. They are a more delicious version of Russian tea cakes. They taste like chocolate coffee shortbread. If you don't like nuts, or coffee, or chocolate, don't make these. If you do they are the cookie for you. Be careful when you store them if they don't get enough air the powdered sugar gets sticky. Also don't skimp on the nuts they truly make the texture of the cookie.
