Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
Followed the recipe exactly and it was HEAVENLY! Tip to the new ones on pie crust - roll out dough between two pieces of wax paper and peel off one piece in order to work dough into pie plate.

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
Perfection! I, honestly, didn't have chicken broth but I am so going to try that next time. Flavorful and the oil didn't burn. So happy with the results that this is now my staple recipe. Been making fried chicken for YEARS and this was just perfect.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
These were so easy to make and without a doubt are the absolute BEST homemade cinnamon rolls my wife or I have ever tried. On an honest note, where these as good as real Cinnabon? No. But it's DARN close. :)

Kelly's Super Simple Shower Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
I had to change out the raspberry for orange because it was a boy's birthday party, but it was so yummy and every last bit was drank. I garnished it with oranges and it was so amazing looking!

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
Followed the directions exactly but it was still on the liquid side so I just added confectioner's sugar until it was more doughy. Biggest problem was it melting while I tried to get it cut, but I solved that by rolling it and then freezing it until was hard enough to simply transfer over to the cake. Very yummy and a big hit!

These were easy and sooooo incredibly delicious! The only things we changed were adding garlic, a little extra cheese, and a light coating of bread crunbs. Simply fantastic!

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Oh wow - I've never made a cobbler before but my husband had been begging for cobbler for weeks. Blackberries came fresh from the backyard and I followed the recipe EXACTLY. Made it three times now and everyone that has had it wants to switch to this recipe. Thanks for sharing your family legacy and making a legacy for others!!!

Tequila Steak

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Very spicy. VERY spicy and I halved the cayenne. I also added in cilantro to try to get more flavor and it just wasn't very flavorful. Just very spicy. I marinated for the full 8 hours too.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that I know an amazing cookie recipe when I try one and ladies and gentleman, this is it! I have seriously tried several dozens of different recipies from all over the place claiming to be the best, but this one has topped them all. Anyone who gave this review less than 4 stars complaining about the softness or texture must have done something worng, because I have made these cookies many times in many different kitchens and have never had any problems. By the way, if you want a real treat, try using banana cream pudding. *drool* This recipe is perfect as-is and needs no modification, bravo!

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
Oh wow!! Seriously amazing. The first time around we didn't have ketchup and had to use bbq sauce. It was amazing! The second time we made the sauce and it was even better - we didn't use chili powder to keep it kid friendly but other than that stuck to the recipe. So amazingly yummy and a keeper in our house. We put the meatballs on subs and served with cheese on it. The only meatball recipe we will ever need.
