Lime Gelatin Salad

I made this last night and boy did it take me back to my childhood when my Mom made it. It was easy, delicious and I want to eat more right now! I did omit the mandarin oranges and used a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple. Wonderful, thank you Louise for the recipe.

Gooey Butter Cake III

I have made this several times. I find that if you add a little milk to the crust it makes it more tender. I also add nuts to the crust and cut the sugar to 3 cups. You can also spice it up a bit by adding cinnamon and nutmeg. Excellent recipe.

No Fail Pound Cake

Just made this and it's pretty good. The only change I made was I substituted lemon juice for the water. This is not a pound cake, it is a dressed up boxed cake. I will make it again, just note for me, in my gas oven, the cooking time was 90 minutes and I could have left it in longer. But it is good...

Easy Sugar Cookies

I wanted easy and that's all that I got. These were bland, bland, bland. I added more vanilla and even a little lemon extract. I wound up making a glaze of lemon juice and powdered sugar to put on top to make them edible.

Cheesecake Brownies

I doubled the batch to take to work yesterday ...The taste was not to my liking. They looked beautiful, the swirl was really nice...they rose perfectly, the edges were great...the taste was not. I didn't throw them out like I wanted but I should have. I will try and find a better recipe.

Pecan Sour Cream Pound Cake

I made this yesterday for a potluck and I was suprisingly disappointed in the results. It came out way too thick and dry. I made sure not to overmix while adding the flour. I wound up sadly throwing half of the cake away. I gave it 2 stars because the flavor was pretty good. I won't make this again.

Southern Comfort Cake

This cake is the BOMB. I made it over the weekend and it turned out fabulous. It looked a little plain so I made a drizzle of Southern Comfort and icing sugar. It was soooo good. I will make again and again. Thanks for the recipe.

Simple Ranch Chicken Macaroni Salad

I made this last night and it was so delicious i'm having it for lunch today. I did omit the olives and I used rotisserie chicken instead of canned. This dish will be made again and again in my house. Bravo Pamelabee.

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

I tried this recipe last night and it did not turn out well. The only change was that I seasoned my chops more, other than that followed the recipe to the T. The breading was soggy. Yuck. I couldn't bring myself to eat them.

This recipe was really good. Very moist and delicious. I had a really hard time with it sticking to my Pampered chef stone bundt pan. I will make again, just with another bundt pan.

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

The only reason I gave them two stars was because they were easy, probabaly too easy to be true. These cookies were not good at all. I wasted good plump pecans on this recipe. Cake mix isn't sweet, so the cookies weren't sweet at all. They were too cake like and the color was off, kind of grayish. I won't make these again...

Mexican Style Meatballs

These were so easy and very good. Slightly spicier than I thought they would be, but that was okay. I would recommend this recipe if you like spicy, smokey meatballs.
