Energy Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2013
Super easy to make and tastes great, clean up was easy as well. I added a bit of maple syrup because I was low on honey and crushed peanuts because I didn't have any coconut.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
These are very good and quick and easy to prepare. I can definatley see how the recipie can be varied easily. I used rice krispies as my cereal and skipped out on the marshmellows - the rest was the same

Tartar Sauce I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
This is a great and simple recipie. I think it's the lemon juice that transforms this from just mayo to tartar sauce. So I would recomend that option. The longer you let it sit the better it tastes for sure.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
These taste great! I followed some advice and left my butter out to get really soft. I cut the recipie in half and used the whole egg and close to 1 cup of sugar. 8 min is the perfect cooking time for soft cookies. I've also made thise with margarine and they tast just as good.

Poppy Seed Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
I was looking for a simple recipie for lemon poppy seed muffins when I campe across this. I switched out the almond extract for lemon extract and the orange juice for lemon juice and kept the rest as is. They were amazing. I'm sure the original recipie will be just as good so I'll have to try it as well. I've made these with and without the topping and they're great either way

Apple Lemon with Cinnamon Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Very good recipie. I made with lemon extract because I didn't have lemon zest and it turned out pretty good. I will say that the muffins aren't sweet so those of you who like a sweet muffin might want to up the sugar content. Also I think 1 apple is not enough - this gets you 2-3 apple pieces per muffin. Also I didn't find the lemon flavour to be very noticable - not sure if that's because I used extract instead of zest

This is insanely easy and turns out really well. I made it as is and with different veggies and beans. It's a great way to make vegetaran chili and it can be easily modified to the suit the cooks tastes.

Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
This is a great recipe. Nice and easy and a good alternative. I made it with brown rice and I just added extra water as needed to ensure the rice was cooked, and seasoned it to my taste

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
This recipie is very easy to follow and the pancakes turn out great. I made it as as. I suggest watching them carefully because if you leave them too long they burn quickly. As other reviewers suggested the longer you leave the milk and the batter to sit, the better they turn out

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Very good recipe! Very moist and very tasty. I basically followed it as is. The only thing I changed is that I took some suggestions and dusted the pan with cinnamon along with the flour. And I used regular apple sauce (the amount) and added one apple peeled and chopped in small pieces. In the future I think I will add 1.5 pkgs of the oatmeal to the batter and use only 0.5 pkgs for the topping. I found it to be a little much on top, it kept falling off and made more of a mess
